I tested using Copper 1.3, but the map actually uses only one Copper specific feature.
The map should play fine in vanilla Quake. I tried it and there were no errors.

A little bit of history that few will read.

Quake 2 was released in 1997 and I got my first good internet connection not long after. 
It was DSL, much better than dial up. I played a lot of Quake 2 deathmatch because of that. 
I liked all the Quake 2 DM maps, but Tokay's Towers was easily my favorite. 
One Saturday morning in the late 1990s I made a reproduction of it using Worldcraft. 
After that, I made a Quake version, and even later I made a Quake 3 version.

I don't think the original idea was to turn it into some kind of single-player map, but 
that was a long time ago and I dont' really remember. Then this Remix Jam appeared on the 
Quake Mapping Discord server and this map fit all the requirements. Luckily, last spring I 
had already experimented a bit with adding a single-player mode to the Quake version. 
Unfortunately I didn't decide until the day before the deadline to actually submit this map. 

I have included all the deathmatch entities from the original map, duplicated as best as
possible. The ladders were a problem though. At some point I added clip-brush ladders. 
They are not all that good in my opinion. These days there are better ways to do ladders, 
but I didn't really have time to do better. They work and for this version they will have 
to do and besides, they don't appear in SP anyway. 

The tools used to compile the map were ericw-tools v0.18.1-32-g6660c5f 
These were the compiler options used:
