* Other Info *

This level is a combination of two Bloodbath (deathmatch) arenas from Blood,
a game developed by Monolith Productions and released in 1997. These arenas
were also featured in Blood II: The Chosen, a sequel released a year later.

I've had a layout of "Bodies" mapped out when I was just fooling around and
learning the basics of TrenchBroom. When I saw (a bit late though) that the
map jam is going on, I decided to use it since it's fitting the theme of the
jam, which is to take a multiplayer level layout from another game and make
it into a single player level for Quake.

Since the size of "Bodies" was really too small for this, I decided to add
another small level from the same game called "Midgard" and join these two
together. There were some changes and small additions made of course, but
layout wise it's not different from the originals at all. Because of this, it
was decided to put up some doors here and there and direct the progression
for a player in a certain way, although one can do a couple of things in
different order. The level relies on monster spawning a bit too much and is
quite symmetrical, which I think are drawbacks.

Theme wise it is somewhat based on Quake's DM4 "The Bad Place" look, as well
as using a few new textures that were made all based on Quake's stock ones.

The level was tested on Easy, Normal and Hard difficulties in single player.
The cooperative play is possible, but it was not tested. Deathmatch mode is
not supported, nobody plays the jam maps in Deathmatch and the scale of
"Bodies" section area turned out a bit too spacey for it anyway.

If you are reading all of this for some reason, you can check a hilariously
primitive version of "Bodies" for Quake III Arena, a deathmatch map which I
made in January 2000, while struggling and fumbling around in Q3Radiant.
It still exists over at https://lvlworld.com/overview/id:42
