Comments : I'm currently working on a large episode so have been trying to resist taking
part in jams and stay focused. But this one was too hard to pass up. I guess I
just wanted to prove myself that I could still throw a map together in a short
space of time, and get some more practice at monster placement too.

It's quite faithful to the episode 1 maps that inspired it, with a few notable
references. I originally intended on lighting it the original way too (with
pointlights and linear attenuation) but after two rooms decided that would be a
huge headache. Oldskool brushwork is fun, oldskool lighting is not. So there
are a few modern lighting techniques in play (attenuation curves, bounce,
dirtmapping) but hopefully enough shadows to make it work. I disabled
lightmapped water through gritted teeth though.
