About the map:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is my entry for Map-Center's Retro Jam 2 for Quake. I experimented with Vanilla Quake's restricted set of rules to add environmental puzzles, breadcrumbing and scripted sequences. I tested out making enemies into turrets to give variety to the enemy roster and force gameplay where the player is mobile while the monsters stay stationary. The map has a loopback layout with a linear introduction through the caves of carnage.

Easy: 65 enemies (1 rotfish) features a laidback experience with some help through the trickiest parts.
Medium: 113 enemies (2 rotfish) features a challenging yet straightforward romp through orchestrated chaos.
Hard: 166 enemies (5 rotfish) features more enemies, more carnage and harder fights.

Multiplayer: 3 co-op spawns. 22 DM spawns suitable for 6-8 players. Basic nav nodes added and tested with KEX bots.

Have fun!
