	"Realm of the Lieutenant" episode
	- by Kendrick "The Lieutenant" Curtis
Maps built between 1998-2008 (and a little 2023)
	- tweaked up, edited, & packaged up by Greenwood
	================================================

I basically packaged the already-chained-together maps by The
Lieutenant, with the exception of the last map, number six.

Since lthsp6 was never officially created, I took LT's last & final
map, "Forwards Compatible," & edited it in Trenchbroom to work as
the ending. I think it turned out rather well. Adapting it to the
main 5's latest progs even fixed the Super Enforcer's glitchy aim. :)

	Installation is simple:
	(1) Unzip the "lth" folder into your Quake install.
	(2) Launch Quake & access the console via the tilde key (above tab).
	(2) In the console, type "game lth" (sans quotations) & press return.
	(3) Start game.

I packaged up an innocuous musical arrangement too, since most of
these maps had either Quake's track 2 (ugh) or placeholder number 1.
It's copyright free as well, so streaming it will not be an issue.
The 5 tracks come from the updated Alternate Quake Music Pack:

Original "Read Me" files from The Lieutenant are in the "docs" folder.
Console-back graphic by Greenwood, along with map 6 changes, model tweaks
(some Alkaline skins simply had more visual distinction), and other mild
model substitutions for generally better aesthetics, etc.

P.S. The Lieutenant didn't add skill settings in the start map.
Skill settings should be done manually before starting the
episode via the console (e.g. type "Skill 0" for easy).

P.P.S Through the start map, you can actually skip ahead into any
of the first four maps! There are even individual areas
available with provisions, for the more advanced levels.
